At the restaurant of our hotel we offer a number of local dishes and special events like goosebuffet, wildbuffet and barbecue in our beer garden right at the back of the hotel.
The Dining room for more than 70 people and other rooms, the beer garden and the BBQ corner are at your disposal for your event or conference.

Recreational Activities

Nothern Hess is well known as the fabulous homecountry of the Brothers Grimm. Many of their tales play in this beautiful countryside. When you walk or cycle through the nature, you can feel the athmosphere of their stories. But the real history had left many sights as well like Kugelsburg castle, Castle Waldeck, the baroque palace in Bad Arolsen, the park Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel and many left and destroyed villages around our city. A deserted medieval town is located only 2 kilometres from our hotel. You can easily discover it by foot. The nature has much to offer in our region as well. For example the lake Twistesee is just 4 kilometers from here and can easily be reached by walking or cycling. Here you can go swimming, fishing, playing beachvolleyball or water skiing.
